10.2 Viewing and collecting key recoveries

Once you have created a request for key recovery, the certificates being recovered are displayed on the Certificates tab of the View Request screen in the MyID Operator Client.

Note: This tab appears only for key recovery requests made through the API, not through MyID Desktop.

If you set up the credential profile to require validation, you can approve the key recovery request from this screen.

You can then use the MyID Operator Client to collect this request as a standard card issuance, soft certificate issuance, or update card job; you do not use the key recovery workflows (Collect Key Recovery, Collect My Key Recovery) as you would if you requested a key recovery operation through MyID Desktop. In addition, only the owner of the certificates can collect them; if you want to collect certificates for another user, you must continue to request and collect key recovery jobs through MyID Desktop.
